An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Al Azra in the 27th minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Venko Notev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venko Notev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bashar Al Azra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanko Kavlakov came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Falah Waddah could save by the left post. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Grivata's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mohammad Juwayn was slow to take the kick. During this time Líbano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Líbano's Mohammad Juwayn to fire away a dangerous shot which Venko Notev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Líbano's Bashar Al Azra got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazar Batalov in the 48th minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Falah Waddah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dirar Rashid to strike the kick off in the second half. After 65 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Zhan Gevechanov. Akram Munahids short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Venko Notev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Líbano's Falah Waddah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sava Chuchev in the 69th minute of play. Falah Waddah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid de Sena in the 73rd minute of the match. When Lazar Batalov fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grivata's protests and gave Lazar Batalov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Grivata getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lazar Batalov hit a great ball. Líbano's Mohammad Juwayn got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Grivata players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
