Enzo Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Germania München's Richard Mühsam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azar Azarov in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Idalécio Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Pedroso in the 29th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaromír Pekár to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Aguiar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Mühsam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Idalécio Coimbra made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mikolaj Bartoszek immediately put the ball in play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karsten Zentner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karsten Zentner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mota having to interfere. Loures's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
