In the 8th minute Ferdinand Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Ferdinand Paz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cordeal Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Boiro's protests and gave Cordeal Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Cordeal Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CD Boiro's Perico Raya got control of the ball when Perry Van Mechelen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andries Van Mechelen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Ferdinand Paz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andries Van Mechelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andries Van Mechelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 周适耀 in the 25th minute of the match. YR Mechelen's Perry Van Mechelen got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Paz in the 31st minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rômulo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, YR Mechelen's Perry Van Mechelen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perico Raya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 周适耀 struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Andries Van Mechelen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Boiro. If Rômulo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Baldomero Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Paz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Andries Van Mechelen made a huge save. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Quilo Aguilar hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Vincent Van Mechelen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perico Raya skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in YR Mechelen's zone, 周适耀 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal and 周适耀 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Van Mechelen in the 61st minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolphe De Maerschalckx hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Perico Raya came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Perry Van Mechelen. But to his dismay, Perry Van Mechelen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Perry Van Mechelen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Raya having to make a save. If Perry Van Mechelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Perry Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Raya having to make a save. Perry Van Mechelen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perico Raya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Perry Van Mechelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YR Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Van Mechelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Perry Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
