César Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by César Sampaio. After 6 played minutes, PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's Guido Iratzeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baltasar Matias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PUEBLO NUEVO AFC reached it. 9 minutes into the match, Fabrício Lopes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's Iker Txomin. Iker Txomin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Amador Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. Jacobs Veitch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Baltasar Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's Baltasar Rumaldo got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's zone, Amadeu Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Txomin came out of the goal and Amadeu Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrício Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Iker Txomin made a huge save. Iker Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 25th minute of play. Iker Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Bessa in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Reno came free, but Baltasar Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's Iker Txomin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 41st minute of play. Baltasar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Enzo Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobs Veitch in the 54th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Baltasar Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Amadeu Bessa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iker Txomin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobs Veitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervásio Severiano came free, but Iker Txomin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Baltasar Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobs Veitch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, PUEBLO NUEVO AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Perico to maneuver through the defense. Iker Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes of play, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Txomin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iker Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute, Fabrício Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Iker Txomin. PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Baltasar Matias came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by PUEBLO NUEVO AFC's Amador Oalo. But to his dismay, Amador Oalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Gervásio Severiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Txomin having to interfere. VB-Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
