The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Drake was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Drake in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Hamnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ingvar Karlstedt hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Alan Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hamnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Kitchen came free, but Joakim Hamnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Oscar Drake put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joakim Hamnberg. Felipe Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leicester Foxes Academy fully deserved thier win.
