With a little luck, Landulfos FC's Jeremias Pires got control of the ball when Güneş Akil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdo Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ruquense FC's zone, Valdo Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Gelacio came out of the goal and Valdo Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Adolfo Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Valdo Ortiz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Romulo Gelacio. When Landulfos FC's Valdo Ortiz in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ruquense FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneş Akil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Romulo Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Fabiano Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes of play, Landulfos FC's Valdo Ortiz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Gelacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th match minute, Landulfos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Luz to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Güneş Akil made the kick off in the second half. Güneş Akil's late challenge caught a Landulfos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güneş Akil helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Güneş Akil. Adolfo Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ruquense FC made a substitution. Bernardino Abaurre replaced Geovanni Zalon. After a rather tough play, Ruquense FC's Adolfo Joseph got a free kick in the 64th minute. Dedê Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Güneş Akil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernardino Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ruquense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Abaurre couldn't finish the play. Landulfos FC's Luiz Fábio Quirino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adolfo Joseph in the 75 minute of the game. Landulfos FC's Valdo Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Gelacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Bueno in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Joseph to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Miroslaw Mielak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruquense FC and the Landulfos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Ruquense FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Landulfos FC. Fabiano Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Gelacio. 0-3. When Naldo da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landulfos FC's protests and gave Naldo da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Ortiz came free, but Romulo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Landulfos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
