In the 5th minute Ştefan Coșereanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Gines. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobri Karapetrov in the 10th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Giness short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Dumitru Berca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes in the game, Ladislao Gines dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dan Barbonța's late challenge caught a Creekers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Barbonța helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VIP's Dan Barbonța got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Ladislao Gines dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dumitru Berca, 2-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Gines made a kick off. Dumitru Berca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Gines's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dan Barbonța hit a great ball. Creekers's Xavier Salazar was substituted for Ladislao Gines. In the 77th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Barbonța to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dumitru Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Salazar in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Creekers's Bryant Miles got control of the ball when Sebastian Ţugui tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Creekers fans cheered their team off the field, for while VIP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
