Cayetano Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Giuverdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Bogdan Ignătoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güntekin Enginer in the 46th minute. Prospero Petri hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Leonard Chiru's late challenge caught a Patay Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Chiru helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Chiru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, Patay Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Petri to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Petri. Despite being the better team, Patay Juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
