A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Daryl Douville hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Hitchcock came free, but Dave Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stéphane Gaudy got free with Silvio Jax in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dave Rinaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arttu Olkkonen's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Ildefonso Quinton kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Motor Alma y Sangre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Sindo to maneuver through the defense. Elegance Dijon's Stéphane Gaudy got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Kopa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Silvio Jax when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dave Rinaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arttu Olkkonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Hauguel in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Jax saved Motor Alma y Sangre from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Motor Alma y Sangre's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Gaudy came free, but Silvio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arttu Olkkonen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Motor Alma y Sangre's zone, Stéphane Gaudy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Jax came out of the goal and Stéphane Gaudy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Christian Minaud came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Elegance Dijon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Minaud couldn't finish the play. Stéphane Gaudy hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi got control of the ball when Ildefonso Quinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Mamadou Forte threw the ball into play from the sideline. Motor Alma y Sangre's Frantzes Barral quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dave Rinaldi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arttu Olkkonen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 73 in the game by Arttu Olkkonen from a close distance when the talented Dave Rinaldi managed to make a qualified save. Elegance Dijon's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Elegance Dijon's zone, Arttu Olkkonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Rinaldi came out of the goal and Arttu Olkkonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ildefonso Quinton could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Dave Rinaldi however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stéphane Gaudy to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Alfred Hitchcock dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dave Rinaldi, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Elegance Dijon's Bruce Pawlak got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edmondo Odisio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Dave Rinaldi made a huge save. The Motor Alma y Sangre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
