Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wolf De Hond kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK defense, Wolf De Hond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taha Günden. The ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taha Günden should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Wolf De Hond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Taha Günden. Wolf De Hond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Johny Konings got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faruk Özgen in the 19th minute of play forced Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Wolf De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Apricis Bruxella's Güney Özboga got a free kick in the 28th minute. Laurence Van Den Abeele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Rüegsegger in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's zone, Wolf De Hond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taha Günden came out of the goal and Wolf De Hond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taha Günden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wolf De Hond went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Göktürk Tuncal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apricis Bruxella the free kick. A collision led to ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Göktürk Tuncal hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Apricis Bruxella's Armand Steenberghs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Carneiro made a kick off. The supporters of ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK booed when Apricis Bruxella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coronel Camba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Jani Toppinen tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Apricis Bruxella's Wolf De Hond in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's goalie prevented a goal. Laurence Van Den Abeele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Carneiro in the 56th minute of play. Taha Günden came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Apricis Bruxella's Wolf De Hond. But to his dismay, Wolf De Hond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 63 played minutes Apricis Bruxella got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Marchewka. In the last second Laurence Van Den Abeele throw himself and got hold of the ball when Patrick Carneiro in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 65th minute of the match ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK got a corner. Apricis Bruxella's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jani Toppinen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hazım Başdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Hazım Başdoğan got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Taha Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Spethmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Wolf De Hond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Taha Günden was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Rüegsegger, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jani Toppinen. In the 86th minute, Wolf De Hond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laurence Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan İzzettin in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apricis Bruxella fans cheered their team off the field, for while ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
