When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pablo Aimar sped through AdanaDemirSpor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rómeó Pál. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo de Almeida in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rómeó Pál saved AdanaDemirSpor from getting behind. Ricardo Cassagne might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rómeó Pál. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Cassagne ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelino Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Romel Gómez came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuna Cihanmert in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Romel Gómez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ariel Gustau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Pablo Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Legio X Eqvestris fans jumped to their feet.
