After a defensive mix-up in Aserradero FC's zone, Alexander Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Poncio came out of the goal and Alexander Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deljan Nastevski got free with Ismael Poncio in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deljan Nastevski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ismael Poncio firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Alexander Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Outsiders FC's Guaberto Perico to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Poncio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Guaberto Perico made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Perico in the 50th minute of play forced Aserradero FC's goalkeeper Ismael Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Perico scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ismael Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Svartengren in the 79th minute of play. Fred Röd struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ismael Poncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Outsiders FC. 82 minutes in the game, Guaberto Perico dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Aserradero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deljan Nastevski came free, but Ismael Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Aserradero FC defense, Guaberto Perico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Poncio. The Aserradero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Poncio should have stopped the shot.
