Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Henrik Biörnberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Guga Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sonny Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 minutes Bluehills Rovers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demis Katsarolidis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PIAUÍ FC's Demis Katsarolidis to fire away a dangerous shot which Sonny Bäckström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Henrik Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PIAUÍ FC's Joaquim Ubiña suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tim Wall's late challenge caught a PIAUÍ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Wall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Baturhan Oytun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Juninho Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Bäckström. Bluehills Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Guga Trancoso sped through Bluehills Rovers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sonny Bäckström. In the 29th minute, Guga Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 33 minutes into the match, Bluehills Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Trancoso came free, but Sonny Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Baturhan Oytun put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Sonny Bäckström. Putte Gullesson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Sonny Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demis Katsarolidis in the 43rd minute of play forced Bluehills Rovers's goalkeeper Sonny Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Bluehills Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Freitas came free, but Sonny Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guga Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, PIAUÍ FC's Alfredão Prestes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 54th minute, Juninho Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Baturhan Oytun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Bluehills Rovers's Kristian Odén got a free kick in the 61st minute. PIAUÍ FC made a substitution. Benedito Paes replaced Juninho Freitas. 64 minutes into the match, Baturhan Oytun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Bäckström. Bluehills Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baturhan Oytun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. After 69 minutes of play, PIAUÍ FC's Benedito Paes made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Bäckström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Bluehills Rovers's Kristian Odén got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Guga Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sonny Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bluehills Rovers's Sonny Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bluehills Rovers from getting a goal against them. When Henrik Biörnberg fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bluehills Rovers's protests and gave Henrik Biörnberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Bluehills Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Biörnberg. In the 78th minute, Guga Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIAUÍ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. Sonny Bäckström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guga Trancoso went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedito Paes got free with Sonny Bäckström in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sonny Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedito Paes in the 89th minute. Sonny Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. PIAUÍ FC's Guga Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bluehills Rovers's Sonny Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Paes in the 95th minute of play. PIAUÍ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
