But to his dismay, Gustavo Cresencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Elequemedo in the 6th minute of play. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save As Melfi 1929 from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, As Melfi 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Hats came free, but Cristoforo Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Cresencio. Cristoforo Basso had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Prudencio Macias from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Antonio Antonelli's late challenge caught a Terremoto Xeneize's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Antonelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Antonio Antonelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cristoforo Basso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto Xeneize. Cristoforo Basso came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto Xeneize's Gustavo Cresencio. But to his dismay, Gustavo Cresencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Macias in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Gustavo Cresencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Elpidio Elequemedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Basso. As Melfi 1929's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Elequemedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Gustavo Cresencio took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Cristoforo Basso to make any attempt to save it. Cristoforo Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Hats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amerigo Scandella to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Macias in the 51st minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terremoto Xeneize's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elpidio Elequemedo in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Terremoto Xeneize's Prudencio Macias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Basso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 60 minutes into the match, Esteban Hats notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso. Cristoforo Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Cresencio in the 63rd minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Terremoto Xeneize's Prudencio Macias in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye As Melfi 1929's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 minutes As Melfi 1929's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Elequemedo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Herminio Birjaio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gustavo Cresencio scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Basso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Macias in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Gustavo Cresencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 77 minutes of play, Terremoto Xeneize's Gustavo Cresencio made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Basso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristoforo Basso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Macias went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute Prudencio Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Eraldo Di Piazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. As Melfi 1929's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terremoto Xeneize the free kick. In the 87th match minute, As Melfi 1929 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Di Piazza to maneuver through the defense. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Macias in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Terremoto Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cresencio. Cristoforo Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Hats in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes As Melfi 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Scandella. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Macias in the 94th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Gorri in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Terremoto Xeneize players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
