When Du Lei Bin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Du Lei Bin couldn't finish the play. Amado Chumo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Valdemar de Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Delmiro Fe made a huge save. A collision led to Volvimos mejores getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eustacio Erauso hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Valdemar de Carvalho could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Delmiro Fe however easily saved by the left post. After 30 minutes Volvimos mejores's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Du Lei Bin who took care of the corner kick. Garland Noël made a great header on Sport Lisboa e Benfica's corner, it was just that Volvimos mejores's Delmiro Fe managed to reach the ball for a save. Rostyslav Solodkyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rostyslav Solodkyi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdemar de Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Fe. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Valdemar de Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Volvimos mejores's Delmiro Fe got control of the ball when Valdemar de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Volvimos mejores's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Du Lei Bin was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Lisboa e Benfica's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Collin Grimm to fire away a dangerous shot which Delmiro Fe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valdemar de Carvalho took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Fe. Delmiro Fe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The wind increased when Engin Dönmez made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Volvimos mejores booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garland Noël didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Valdemar de Carvalho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmiro Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Carvalho in the 70th minute of play. Eustacio Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Volvimos mejores got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Gora. 77 minutes into the match, Volvimos mejores's goal looked a bit too open when Rostyslav Solodkyi came free, but Delmiro Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valdemar de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Gora got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amado Chumo. Delmiro Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes, Valdemar de Carvalho made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Volvimos mejores's Delmiro Fe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Volvimos mejores's zone, Valdemar de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Fe came out of the goal and Valdemar de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Volvimos mejores's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Carvalho came free, but Delmiro Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Valdemar de Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Fe. Volvimos mejores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar de Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Enzo Gora made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Amado Chumo immediately put the ball in play. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
