Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Martins in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Róbson Vale hit a great ball. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Battle Muller. 24 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Martins came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 26 minutes on the clock, Imre Dárdai commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Andrew Robertson made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio RK75's Cauã Luz. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Martins in the 30th minute of play. Neville Byrnes struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Battle Muller made a kick off. In the 68th minute, Neville Byrnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
