KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. Uwe Birmes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Brandon Mang 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Lugebiel to maneuver through the defense. Brandon Mang made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Uwe Birmes sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uwe Birmes got free with Brandon Mang in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Nowak during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Fabrizio Nowak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bannenbusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang got control of the ball when Uwe Birmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ture Juniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Uwe Birmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ture Juniel scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Mang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörg Hannemann in the 33rd minute of play forced KFC Uerdingen 05's goalkeeper Brandon Mang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Uwe Birmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 37th minute of the match Fabrizio Nowak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabrizio Nowak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 38 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Nowak. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Tom Eberhardt got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Germany made a substitution. Sulo Montaña replaced Lucas Hernández. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederic Bell to strike the kick off in the second half. Brandon Mang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Juniel in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Uwe Birmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Brandon Mang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ture Juniel scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Mang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brandon Mang didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Germany's Róbert Štriker shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Brandon Mang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Juniel in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Róbert Štriker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brandon Mang was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The supporters of Germany booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederic Bell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brandon Mang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Gehling in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Róbert Štriker made a precise shot to the right of Brandon Mang. KFC Uerdingen 05's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ture Juniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sulo Montaña scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Mang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Ture Juniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Mang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörg Hannemann hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Germany fully deserved thier win.
