Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Márcio Catarinense kicked off to start the match. Mirko Walser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Márcio Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacob Josef Zurflüh having to make a save. Joinville Saint German's Rogério Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville Saint German from getting a goal against them. Jacob Josef Zurflüh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Hanselmann scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Patrick Hanselmann made the kick off in the second half. Liechtenstein's Dominik Klaus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valério Xavier, made in the 57th minute of the game. Rogério Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Meister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes, Vito Brito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joinville Saint German and the Liechtenstein players grew even worse after the yellow card. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ismaele Santo Schurti hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play, Liechtenstein's Ismaele Santo Schurti made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Manuel Müller fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liechtenstein's protests and gave Manuel Müller a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Liechtenstein got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Müller. Rogério Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Kathan in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Patrick Hanselmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liechtenstein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liechtenstein fully deserved thier win.
