Dombiratosi Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vörös Ördögök FCD the free kick. In the 6th minute Vörös Ördögök FCD were awarded a corner. György Vásárhelyi went to the cornerflag to take it. 8 minutes into the match, Vörös Ördögök FCD's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by György Gerencsér. Olivier Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Seres in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lóránd Segesváry in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David De Gea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vörös Ördögök FCD's zone, Zakariás Bán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivier Kahn came out of the goal and Zakariás Bán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Vörös Ördögök FCD's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Sági. Vörös Ördögök FCD were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Dombiratosi Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. György Vásárhelyi took the corner. The corner led Vörös Ördögök FCD's György Vásárhelyi to fire away a dangerous shot which David De Gea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zakariás Bán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Olivier Kahn made a huge save. With a little luck, Vörös Ördögök FCD's Olivier Kahn got control of the ball when Roland Sági tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Vörös Ördögök FCD's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcell Tímár. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Sági in the 26th minute of play forced Vörös Ördögök FCD's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David De Gea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lóránd Segesváry in the 28th minute of the match. Emánuel Medgyesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Sági, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Vörös Ördögök FCD's Emánuel Medgyesi got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tamás Varsányi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Olivier Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dombiratosi Football Club booed when Vörös Ördögök FCD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emánuel Medgyesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. István Seress short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Olivier Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 39 played minutes Vörös Ördögök FCD got a freekick which was hit by György Vásárhelyi. 43 minutes into the game, Endre Bagi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vörös Ördögök FCD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dombiratosi Football Club the free kick. Endre Bagi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With 48 minutes on the clock, István Bogdán commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 47 minutes into the game, one of Vörös Ördögök FCD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dombiratosi Football Club a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by György Gerencsér, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vörös Ördögök FCD's Olivier Kahn. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tamás Varsányi was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Muri to maneuver through the defense. Emánuel Medgyesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Sági, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gábor Simicska recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Dombiratosi Football Club's Tamás Varsányi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivier Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Vörös Ördögök FCD's goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Varsányi came free, but Olivier Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Dombiratosi Football Club's György Gerencsér nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivier Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Mátyás Csonka charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mátyás Csonka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vörös Ördögök FCD's Attila Somogyi was substituted for Endre Bagi. In the 80th minute, Mátyás Csonka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Dombiratosi Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Dombiratosi Football Club's Roland Sági looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olivier Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Sági in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Mihály Baló managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vörös Ördögök FCD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihály Baló was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dombiratosi Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
