Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Matviy Zalizko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. From a short distance, Újpalota SC's Béla Markó, in the 5th minute, tried to place the ball behind Matviy Zalizko, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Matviy Zalizko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Béla Markó's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. László Nyilasi came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matviy Zalizko could save by the left post. In the 16th minute of the match, László Nyilasi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matviy Zalizko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, László Nyilasi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matviy Zalizko to make any attempt to save it. László Nyilasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matviy Zalizko made an important save on a dangerous shot by László Nyilasi in the 22nd minute. 29 minutes into the game, Emánuel Hatvani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. György Nagy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Béla Markó in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matviy Zalizko saved Szajk LC from getting behind. In the 35th minute Csongor Csorba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Nagy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Újpalota SC's attentive Bertalan Horváth managed to snatch the ball when Árpád Konkoly made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Árpád Konkoly with Emánuel Hatvani as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 40th minute Béla Markó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Zalizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szajk LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bertalan Horváth was slow to take the kick. During this time Újpalota SC's players had a chance to rest. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Béla Markó stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matviy Zalizko came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Újpalota SC's Béla Markó. But to his dismay, Béla Markó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Matviy Zalizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Nyilasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the match Szajk LC got a corner. Újpalota SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zénó Polgár ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Zénó Polgár almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Újpalota SC's György Nagy did a great save. Béla Markó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matviy Zalizko having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Újpalota SC's László Nyilasi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Újpalota SC's György Nagy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Újpalota SC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Béla Markó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újpalota SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. György Nagy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márió Rákosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lajos Józsa got free with György Nagy in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Szajk LC's Matviy Zalizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Markó in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Szajk LC were awarded a corner. Zénó Polgár went to the cornerflag to take it. Zénó Polgár made a great header on Szajk LC's corner, it was just that Újpalota SC's György Nagy managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Béla Markó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szajk LC's Matviy Zalizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Szajk LC's Márió Rákosi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Újpalota SC's goalie prevented a goal. Zénó Polgár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without György Nagy having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Újpalota SC's goal looked a bit too open when Márió Rákosi came free, but György Nagy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levente Makkai in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck György Nagy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94thth minute of the game Béla Markó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szajk LC's Matviy Zalizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Szajk LC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
