After 11 minutes of play, Uruguaiana's Aníbal Varela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Aníbal Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Fluminense di Parma got a freekick which was hit by Germano Cano. Enrique Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Erik Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Mesquita in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Guedes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Enrique Reis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gabriel Damião, passed just outside the right post. After 40 played minutes Uruguaiana got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Galvão. Gabriel Damião was a little too slow when German Cano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-2. Gabriel Damião made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when German Cano sent off a good shot on target. Sebastião Machado hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rômulo Montenegro during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fluminense di Parma getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rômulo Montenegro hit a great ball. After the first half Uruguaiana were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 64 played minutes Fluminense di Parma got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Reis. After a rather tough play, Fluminense di Parma's Ricardo Sousa got a free kick in the 70th minute. Uruguaiana's Alberto Paiva was substituted for Sebastião Machado. Uruguaiana's Jerônimo de Almeida was substituted for Severino Mesquita. In the 72nd minute, Ricardo Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Erik Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Tiago Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluminense di Parma and the Uruguaiana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Uruguaiana's Aníbal Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fluminense di Parma were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguaiana for a fine match.
