The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Ove Möller got free with Shaki Conn in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes ForestFire's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerson Gonzales who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Ivey came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyle Flanagan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Möller came free, but Shaki Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luisito James hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Shaki Conn threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bart Timmons, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lyle Flanagan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luisito James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Flanagan having to interfere. Lyle Flanagan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Ivey in the 34th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito James came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Navarro in the 43rd minute of play forced EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Lyle Flanagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaki Conn came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Reginaldo Dias. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Ove Möller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stig-Ove Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Timmons scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shaki Conn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shaki Conn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Stig-Ove Möller put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Shaki Conn. 71 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Ivey came free, but Lyle Flanagan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Ivey in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Ivey in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lyle Flanagan saved EL LOBO DE MIAMI from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Stig-Ove Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Marshall Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marshall Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Shaki Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Medina in the 92nd minute of the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Navarro in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Stig-Ove Möller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. EL LOBO DE MIAMI had won after a very even match.
