But to his dismay, Andre Randall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With 88 minutes on the clock, Leonardo Frazier commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of PALMEIRAS-UTAH:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Scarlet Speedster:s goal. Peter Steele had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping João Severino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 89 minutes into the match, João Severino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Steele. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Severino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Randall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Scarlet Speedster players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PALMEIRAS-UTAH.
