Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Santo Damario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 31st minute of play. If Santo Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Riesgo Cero's Abelardo Vitin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Nereo Acosta got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Belo Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match, Kubilay İmge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maurino Serena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The crowd rose to their feet as A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Vladimirescu. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. 58 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Vadillos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 62nd minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Riesgo Cero's corner Amadeo Firman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurino Serena quite easily take care of the ball. Leroy Antunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cristian Vladimirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Amadeo Firman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riesgo Cero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D. Alcorcón the free kick.
