After taking down the ball on Thailand's corner Tawat Chaiprakhon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Marino quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Roland in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paiboon Permpol saved Thailand from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Thailand's Wat Plangrotewatana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Marino. That made the score 7-0 after 43 minutes of play. With a little luck, Fulbo FC's Rodrigo Marino got control of the ball when Adiwut Phaowsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Roland made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Tawat Chaiprakhon made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Marino. Fulbo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0.
