The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. U21 Bolivia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Abeitia in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eleuterio Abeitia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Hägg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Resurrección Diabólica Ψ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vicente Ortle hit a great ball. Heriberto Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Hägg having to interfere. When Saul Ostots fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's protests and gave Saul Ostots a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, U21 Bolivia's Emil Hägg threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Ruben, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th minute U21 Bolivia were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Abeitia went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eleuterio Abeitia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Hägg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tallia Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hıncal Karanalp in the 26th minute of the match. Tallia Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hıncal Karanalp in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, U21 Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Dacio came free, but Tallia Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd play minute Heriberto Abaunza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emil Hägg. 1-0. Hıncal Karanalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tallia Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. U21 Bolivia's Ximenez Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heriberto Abaunza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Emil Hägg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heriberto Abaunza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Parada's late challenge caught a Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Parada helped the player get up and apologised. Tallia Abarca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Dacio in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heriberto Abaunza in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Hägg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Bolivia's Tallia Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Dionísio in the 63rd minute of play. Heriberto Abaunza scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Hägg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, U21 Bolivia's Eleuterio Abeitia got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Hıncal Karanalp came free, but Tallia Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Abaunza in the 75th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Resurrección Diabólica Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Dionísio. Emil Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Díaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Hıncal Karanalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tallia Abarca skillfully saved the ball. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Díaz in the 91st minute of play. Tallia Abarca made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Hıncal Karanalp sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Hıncal Karanalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tallia Abarca was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, Ximenez Abad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resurrección Diabólica Ψ the free kick. After 95 played minutes U21 Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Ximenez Abad. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
