With his leg Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Nolmyra FC's Johnny Blomquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Pernia in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Johnny Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Nolmyra FC's Johnny Blomquist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Nolmyra FC booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johnny Blomquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's Johnny Blomquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Blomquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Castel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hampus Albohm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liu Nan lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 39 minutes into the match, Vicente Santana notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm. Hampus Albohm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes in the game, Folke Molin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nolmyra FC defense, Alvaro Castel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Albohm. The Nolmyra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Albohm should have stopped the shot.

Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Julio Kemen replaced Danilo Gomesano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Santana got free with Hampus Albohm in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Santana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Hampus Albohm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hampus Albohm stood somewhat misplaced when Vicente Santana came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 56 minute. In the 59th minute of the game Eduardo Moreno made a throw-in which Nick Gijselinkx played forward. In the 62nd minute Alvaro Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Blomquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Johnny Blomquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nolmyra FC made a substitution. Handley Woodbridge replaced Folke Molin. 74 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's goalkeeper Hampus Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Santana. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Santana got free with Hampus Albohm in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fagildo Pamanes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Blomquist in the 79th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Nick Gijselinkx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hampus Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Santana in the 81st minute. Johnny Blomquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. When Nolmyra FC's Johnny Blomquist in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Consejo del Mate's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Santana came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hampus Albohm could save by the left post. The Consejo del Mate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Consejo del Mate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
