Peter Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Peter Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yin Wei Yi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Bautmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, Rafik Zoheir Zerara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bredene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ the free kick. After 20 played minutes FC Bredene got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Zoheir Zerara. The audience was convinced that Yin Wei Yi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Bautmans was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Peter Bautmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aris Kounadakis to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Maerschalck to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Montes couldn't finish the play. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Fernando Seber replaced Pablo Innocenzio. When Johnny Van Den Wijngaert fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bredene's protests and gave Johnny Van Den Wijngaert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute of the match Igor Montes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Bautmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans got control of the ball when Teodosio Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Bautmans. Peter Bautmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Peter Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Seber in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ booed when FC Bredene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Maerschalck didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ played a much better game than FC Bredene and deserved their victory. The FC Bredene players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
