An unexpectedly hard shot by Čubrilo Romero in the 44th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Despite this Hélder Travassos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Ubatuba's 邓真义 threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Gustavo do Valle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luiz Gustavo do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 邓真义 having to make a save. 邓真义 made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Luiz Gustavo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. Hélder Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kağan Boran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Psycho-Circus's Melchor Gilesindo was substituted for Andres Calamaro. In the 83rd minute, Denílson Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Paraibano came free, but 邓真义 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th play minute Juvenal Paraibano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 邓真义. 0-6. The Psycho-Circus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ubatuba's performance. The match ended with a win for Ubatuba.
