Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Avery Novak started the match with the kick off. When U21 Canada's Avery Novak in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Thailand's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Avery Novak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sorapong Raisungnurn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Avery Novak notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of U21 Thailand's Sorapong Raisungnurn. Sorapong Raisungnurn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sorapong Raisungnurn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noble Dodge in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Novak in the 23rd minute of play forced U21 Thailand's goalkeeper Sorapong Raisungnurn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorapong Raisungnurn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Novak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Novak in the 30th minute of play forced U21 Thailand's goalkeeper Sorapong Raisungnurn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pasachai Jitjai managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Thailand's supporters rose to their feet, but Pasachai Jitjai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colombain Parham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noble Dodge charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noble Dodge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Sirinate Sareeprom in the 40th minute really tested Colombain Parham's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 41st minute Avery Novak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorapong Raisungnurn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Pasachai Jitjai made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, U21 Canada's Everett Swartz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sorapong Raisungnurn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Novak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sirinate Sareeprom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noble Dodge hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Pasachai Jitjai notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of U21 Canada's Colombain Parham. Colombain Parham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Avery Novak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sorapong Raisungnurn. The goal made the score 1-3. Avery Novak kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Colombain Parham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piyorot Boonlikit in the 66th minute of the match. Avery Novak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 Canada made a substitution. Pierre Welch replaced Everett Swartz. In the 70th minute, Jody Montoya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jody Montoya in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sorapong Raisungnurn saved U21 Thailand from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, U21 Thailand's goalkeeper Sorapong Raisungnurn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jody Montoya. After 81 minutes, Piyorot Boonlikit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Thailand and the U21 Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Piyorot Boonlikit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Suebpong Pirunkunakorn during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, U21 Thailand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suebpong Pirunkunakorn to maneuver through the defense. Colombain Parham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sirinate Sareeprom in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, U21 Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Petrescu to maneuver through the defense. Jody Montoya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sorapong Raisungnurn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Pierre Welch made a great header on U21 Canada's corner, it was just that U21 Thailand's Sorapong Raisungnurn managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th minute, Kawee Nuizawa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sorapong Raisungnurn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jody Montoya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Canada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
