Pipis Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Parviz Asslibasab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adit Alatas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Manuel Antono successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Parviz Asslibasab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parviz Asslibasab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th match minute, U21 Indonesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yonas Sutrisna to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kianoosh Tabari got free with Manuel Antono in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, U21 Iran's Soheil Mahdavikia got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Pipis Bos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, U21 Indonesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pipis Bos to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Anoush Kazemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parviz Asslibasab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gery Burhanuddin in the 69th minute.
