U21 Australia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Quijada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liang Cai in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Valenzuela saved U21 Honduras from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Marcelo Vasquez put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Matt Ryan. In the 95th minute, Luis Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Benjamin Carberry sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Valenzuela skillfully saved the ball. The U21 Australia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented U21 Honduras from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
