Ruud Hesp came out of the goal and Deng Guo Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meshack Steyn made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guy Brooks however managed to control. The referee ignored FC St. Pauli Andorra's protests and gave Meshack Steyn a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes, Seggiano's Gazi Ziver shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruud Hesp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seggiano reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Deng Guo Yang made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Seggiano. Aldo Carta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruud Hesp. 0-4. Deng Guo Yang succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 58th playminute. Deng Guo Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruud Hesp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ruud Hesp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Del Duca in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Corleone in the 77th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Fausto Di Luzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruud Hesp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Antognoni in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Seggiano's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Corleone came free, but Fausto Di Luzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Deng Guo Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruud Hesp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deng Guo Yang went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Deng Guo Yang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruud Hesp. Deng Guo Yang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7.
