Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mario Dostie made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when Flagstaff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Rainey came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Junior Stover. But to his dismay, Junior Stover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Dostie in the 6th minute of play forced Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Stover in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence Arthur came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Dostie, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Mario Dostie notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Flagstaff's Simon Rainey. Simon Rainey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Rainey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Arthur in the 18th minute of the match. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Stover in the 19th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Terrence Arthur made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Rainey was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence Arthur came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Sanderson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Simon Rainey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrence Arthur in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Terrence Arthur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Rainey. Flagstaff's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terrence Arthur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After some careless play in the Flagstaff defense, Calvin Diggs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Rainey. The Flagstaff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Rainey should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Stover in the 42nd minute of play forced Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, one of Flagstaff:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. Iréné West stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Simon Rainey. 0-6. After the first half Qikiqtarjuaq FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kermit Regan made the kick off in the second half. 0-7 became the score in the 53rd minute when Terrence Arthur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Mario Dostie made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Rainey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terrence Arthur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 60 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Terrence Arthur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. 70 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Wilton Boyles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Rainey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Simon Rainey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terrence Arthur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 73 minute of play. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrence Arthur, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Terrence Arthur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Simon Rainey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Arthur in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes, A.J. Sanderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flagstaff and the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Rainey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Dostie in the 95th minute. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
