Lance Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of East Moriches AFC booed when Yaquis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Crowe struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Joel Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Moriches AFC. Joel Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Steward in the 7th minute of the match. Joel Diaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keith Steward went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Bernier in the 12th minute of play forced Yaquis FC's goalkeeper Joel Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to East Moriches AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. King Altman hit a great ball. Ramiro Herron kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Teofilo Galindo had several of the East Moriches AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Garrett Horne as he didn't even see the shot coming. Teofilo Galindo scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrett Horne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in East Moriches AFC's zone, Teofilo Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garrett Horne came out of the goal and Teofilo Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, East Moriches AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Herron to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Froila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Garrett Horne made a huge save. Joel Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Steward, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Eduardo Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keith Steward hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keith Steward to strike the kick off in the second half. Garrett Horne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Froila in the 55th minute of the match. Joel Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Steward in the 58th minute of play. Lance Crowe took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Diaz. Joel Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Garrett Horne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Eriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, East Moriches AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bernier to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Froila scored 3-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrett Horne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Herron got free with Joel Diaz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gaspar Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaquis FC's protests and gave Gaspar Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yaquis FC's Gaspar Abarca got a free kick in the 76th minute. Garrett Horne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Garrett Horne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Froila in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, East Moriches AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Froila came free, but Garrett Horne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Teofilo Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett Horne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as East Moriches AFC's Alex Bernier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joel Diaz. That made the score 3-4 after 89 minutes of play. Joel Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Herron in the 97th minute of the match. East Moriches AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Yaquis FC's much stronger midfield.
