Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Urbez started the match with the kick off. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aurelio Ariando hit a great ball. Claus Himschoot came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor. But to his dismay, Juan Corredor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as TZILACATZIN's Leopoldo Gaxan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Videl Mauriz. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Gaxan came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Leopoldo Gaxan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Videl Mauriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. TZILACATZIN's Claus Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Corredor in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Corredor in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claus Himschoot saved TZILACATZIN from getting behind. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Videl Mauriz got control of the ball when Abelardo Balasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Videl Mauriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Gaxan. When Juan Corredor came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Corredor couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Tohias kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud van Nistelrooij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Corredor was the one to do the kick off. After 66 played minutes TZILACATZIN got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Ariando. TZILACATZIN's Claus Himschoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save TZILACATZIN from getting a goal against them. Videl Mauriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when TZILACATZIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Videl Mauriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Silban Argomedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Juan Corredor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Hernández to maneuver through the defense. MILLONARIOS FC's Roberto Quicedo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Uriel Mergildo, made in the 87th minute of the game. After 95 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernado Sisalde. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TZILACATZIN fans cheered their team off the field, for while MILLONARIOS FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
