Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Republic of Jämtland's Claes Holmberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sigvard Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Asklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Skarkman having to make a save. Karl-Johan Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Brask took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Skarkman. Karl-Johan Skarkman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Siggman. 27 minutes into the match, Republic of Jämtland's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Brask came free, but Karl-Johan Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's Nils Asklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Johan Skarkman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Sigvard Brask managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balders Hage IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Brask was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Sigvard Brask cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Karl-Johan Skarkman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Balders Hage IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Asklund to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Holmberg came free, but Eric Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Karl-Johan Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Republic of Jämtland got a freekick which was hit by Björn Klack. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Siggman in the 64th minute of play forced Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Dennis Siggman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Fredriksson. Balders Hage IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Siggman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nils Asklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Nils Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balders Hage IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sigvard Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Hermansson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Balders Hage IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
