Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agur Aavik in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agur Aavik in the 5th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in FRANK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! FRANK:s Hugo Moraes showed great skill when he stopped Agur Aavik:s penalty. 8 minutes into the match, Agur Aavik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Moraes. FRANK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agur Aavik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Bert Olumets in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Margus Hanson helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, FRANK's Magnus Auestad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rauno Redi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kaja Kallas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Hugo Moraes made a huge save. Kaja Kallas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaja Kallas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Rauno Redi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Vorland in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Põltsamaa Põllumehed booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Børseth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiur Kaiklem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Moraes. FRANK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Bert Olumets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Moraes. That made the score 3-1 after 29 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Hugo Moraes threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bert Olumets, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hugo Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Olumets in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FRANK's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Olumets came free, but Hugo Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agur Aavik made a kick off. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agur Aavik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Põltsamaa Põllumehed fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Põltsamaa Põllumehed's Agur Aavik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
