Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Villel's Evaristo Ruiz in the 3rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Valentino Contratas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Senatus Populus Que Roman through an amazing save. 5 minutes into the game, Senatus Populus Que Roman's Alifonso Sánchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Cainzos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Villel's goal looked a bit too open when William Manzano came free, but Andrés Cainzos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Cainzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Manzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Villel's Barea Munoz got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Fidel Zafrilla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valentino Contratas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Villel's goal looked a bit too open when William Manzano came free, but Andrés Cainzos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Senatus Populus Que Roman got a freekick which was hit by Alifonso Sánchez. After a defensive mix-up in Villel's zone, Gonsalve Baños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrés Cainzos came out of the goal and Gonsalve Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Evaristo Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentino Contratas. The goal made the score 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

54 minutes into the match, Villel's goalkeeper Andrés Cainzos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Manzano. In the 55th minute, Senatus Populus Que Roman's Alifonso Sánchez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrés Cainzos. Andrés Cainzos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Andrés Cainzos was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Iker Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iker Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Villel were furious when Gabon Barbosa was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Villel getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gabon Barbosa hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Alifonso Sánchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrés Cainzos. Villel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alifonso Sánchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Manzano got free with Andrés Cainzos in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Iker Garcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrés Cainzos, 1-8. Andrés Cainzos made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Manzano in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Senatus Populus Que Roman's William Manzano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. In the 94th minute, Barea Munoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
