The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Elvio Cebo scored to the left of an out of position Roberto Abbondanzieri, making the score, 1-0. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Luisito Mitxaut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Saul Ortle, made in the 6th minute of the game. Paulo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Cordareo in the 8th minute of play. José Luis Brown charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Luis Brown the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Brown to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Cebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Roberto Abbondanzieri made a huge save. After a rather tough play, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Pablo Orzaize got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tobias Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Elvio Cebo sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Roberto Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Gartzen in the 51st minute of play. During the 55th minute of the match José Luis Brown completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Luis Brown a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors made a substitution. Severo Izotz replaced Tobias Cordareo. After a rather tough play, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's José Luis Brown got a free kick in the 58th minute. 72 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Izotz came free, but Paulo Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 73 in the game by Severo Izotz from a close distance when the talented Paulo Beliran managed to make a qualified save. SC Pfullendorf's players were relieved. Rodrigo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Beliran having to interfere. When Feliberto Cambranes came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SC Pfullendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Cambranes couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Paulo Beliran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Franco. Elvio Cebo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pfullendorf. 92 minutes into the match, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cambranes came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when C. A. Adestiempo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Gartzen in the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
