Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loukianos Kovis started the match with the kick off. Stratos Loubakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Macheridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Stefanos Koutsouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Loubakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of OLDHAM ATHLETIC booed when Tsαrisi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltiadis Giatropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loukianos Kovis took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stratos Loubakis. Stratos Loubakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Stratos Loubakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Papageorgatos in the 17th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Tsαrisi FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenios Labrakos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Asimopoulos got free with Isidoros Karkabasis in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stratos Loubakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loukianos Kovis went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Loukianos Kovis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stratos Loubakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 30th minute, Alketas Magoulas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLDHAM ATHLETIC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Christodoulos Kalamaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Stefanos Koutsouris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLDHAM ATHLETIC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Stefanos Koutsouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stratos Loubakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Koutsouris in the 45th minute of the match. Stratos Loubakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Kovis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenios Labrakos made a kick off. Tsαrisi FC's attentive Paris Klanakis managed to snatch the ball when Alketas Magoulas made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. With splendid footwork Loukianos Kovis arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 54th minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Alkaios Lappas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stratos Loubakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stratos Loubakis made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Takis Mitsibonas sent off a good shot on target. When Stefanos Papageorgatos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLDHAM ATHLETIC's protests and gave Stefanos Papageorgatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Stefanos Papageorgatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paris Klanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thrasivoulos Katsarolidis got free with Stratos Loubakis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stratos Loubakis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by OLDHAM ATHLETIC's Stefanos Papageorgatos. But to his dismay, Stefanos Papageorgatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 72nd minute, OLDHAM ATHLETIC's Stefanos Papageorgatos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stratos Loubakis. Stratos Loubakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Stratos Loubakis was a little too slow when Loukianos Kovis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-9. Stratos Loubakis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Stefanos Koutsouris sent off a good shot on target. Stratos Loubakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefanos Koutsouris in the 88th minute. OLDHAM ATHLETIC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
