Erik Passos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Buffon. Nonatos United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute Pedro Luiz Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Cícero de Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nonatos United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 29 minutes in the game, Cícero de Castro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ramiro Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Castro in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the Corinthians Virtual FC defense, Cícero de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Teixeira. The Corinthians Virtual FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Teixeira should have stopped the shot. Corinthians Virtual FC's Ramiro Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Virtual FC from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nonatos United. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero de Castro got free with Ramiro Teixeira in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nonatos United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
