Alfredo Pero made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Uriel Fagondo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Marciano Francho could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Alfredo Pero however easily saved by the left post. In the 5th minute Damaso Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Aritza charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Aritza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Boedo Athletic. got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Aritza. Marciano Francho came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfredo Pero could save by the left post. After 13 played minutes Forest Green got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Isusko. Elvio Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Elodio in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Forest Green getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marciano Iraido hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boedo Athletic.'s zone, Angelo Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Pero came out of the goal and Angelo Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes Boedo Athletic. got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Edwardo. Rosendo Aritza was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Boedo Athletic.'s Rosendo Aritza got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Jaizki in the 37th minute of play forced Boedo Athletic.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Pero came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Green's Damaso Jaizki. But to his dismay, Damaso Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 44th minute Uriel Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Pero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Luix in the 46th minute. Elvio Galtero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Elodio went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Boedo Athletic.'s Gaspar Mitxaut was substituted for Joel Alonso. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Forest Green's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
