Flamengo de San Blás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaquis FC the free kick. Joel Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Valdez in the 10th minute of the match. With 13 minutes on the clock, Eduardo Eriz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 13 minutes into the game, one of Yaquis FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yaquis FC:s Joel Diaz showed great skill when he stopped Alex Quiros:s penalty. Yaquis FC's Joel Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando De Gracia in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Totin Calderón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Diaz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Valdez to make the kick off. Victoriano Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Cayetano Odilon fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaquis FC's protests and gave Cayetano Odilon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Cayetano Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Diaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milton Ulloa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 60 minute of play. After 68 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Milton Ulloa. When Emiliano Geleberto fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaquis FC's protests and gave Emiliano Geleberto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when Yaquis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Yaquis FC's goalkeeper Joel Diaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Valdez. In the 75thth minute of the game Rolando De Gracia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaquis FC's Joel Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flamengo de San Blás were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Yaquis FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Quiros took the corner. Totin Calderón made a great header on Flamengo de San Blás's corner, it was just that Yaquis FC's Joel Diaz managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 80 minutes, Cecilio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
