Changsha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Caniggia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th minute Ronaldo Aubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Laberge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ramon Caniggia made a precise shot to the right of Jon Laberge. Changsha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ramon Caniggia sped through Changsha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Laberge. Jon Laberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Aubert in the 18th minute of play. When RamPa Football Club's Ramon Caniggia in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jon Laberge came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by RamPa Football Club's Ronaldo Aubert. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Aubert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jon Laberge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ramon Caniggia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RamPa Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Salinas in the 46th minute of play forced Changsha FC's goalkeeper Jon Laberge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Caniggia to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, RamPa Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Morua to maneuver through the defense. Changsha FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ramon Caniggia scored to the left of an out of position Jon Laberge, making the score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Caniggia got free with Jon Laberge in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, RamPa Football Club's Ramon Pujol got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Ramon Caniggia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RamPa Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 76th match minute, RamPa Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Maldini to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Changsha FC's zone, Ronaldo Aubert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Laberge came out of the goal and Ronaldo Aubert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Aubert in the 80th minute of play forced Changsha FC's goalkeeper Jon Laberge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Laberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Aubert in the 92nd minute of the match. When the match was over RamPa Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Changsha FC throughout the match.
