Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bras Velasco got the match started through his kick off. Paulino Lain came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by CON-E-CO's Kusko Cadaval. But to his dismay, Kusko Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Les Tigres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CON-E-CO:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for CON-E-CO. Bras Velasco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulino Lain. 0-2. The supporters of CON-E-CO booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bras Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Lain. Les Tigres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bras Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 24th minute, Abel Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CON-E-CO's Demesio Galarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Su in the 26th minute of play. Paulino Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bras Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Bras Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CON-E-CO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 37th minute, Siro Urbez made a precise shot to the right of Demesio Galarreta. CON-E-CO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Fausto Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Ilazki Cebollero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demesio Galarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Urbez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Les Tigres's Albano Esiquio was substituted for Siro Urbez. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Esiquio made a kick off. Demesio Galarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tomás Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Kusko Cadaval scored 1-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Urre Corrillos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Lain. Urre Corrillos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Abel Estebe kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Bruno Bruñon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CON-E-CO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Bruñon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CON-E-CO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CON-E-CO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
