The referee ignored Aɾɳσɾ FC.'s protests and gave Martxel Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Aɾɳσɾ FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martxel Palmer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tala Bosques del Jaure getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Natanael Leal hit a great ball. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Caton Colunga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerhard Müller in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tala Bosques del Jaure defense, Victor Hugo Aristizábal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caton Colunga. The Tala Bosques del Jaure fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caton Colunga should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Iago Giumill got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 31 minutes, Kimetz Gauna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aɾɳσɾ FC. and the Tala Bosques del Jaure players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kimetz Gauna kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Hugo Aristizábal made a kick off. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Caton Colunga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tala Bosques del Jaure from getting a goal against them. Valentine Zaton charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentine Zaton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentine Zaton in the 55th minute of play forced Aɾɳσɾ FC.'s goalkeeper Santio Ilarraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aɾɳσɾ FC. were furious when Costante Corneja was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Aɾɳσɾ FC.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tala Bosques del Jaure:s goal.
