With an all-out effort, Aɾɳσɾ FC.'s Frutos Cubas threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robustiano Pandilla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Hugo Aristizábal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Frutos Cubas made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hats Selgas to maneuver through the defense. Frutos Cubas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Hugo Aristizábal's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Vanadio F.C.'s Frutos Cubas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Silva in the 30th minute of play.
