Fire Breathers FC's Anacleto Terrilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikatz Noboa in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Fire Breathers FC defense, Eugenio Crujeiras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Terrilla. The Fire Breathers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Terrilla should have stopped the shot. Frutos Cubas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Lando Ermua could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Frutos Cubas however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eugenio Crujeiras hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Ikatz Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Terrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osoitz Cascajares made a great header on Fire Breathers FC's corner, it was just that Vanadio F.C.'s Frutos Cubas managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lando Ermua to strike the kick off in the second half.
