With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Ignacio Bozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caton Colunga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madeo Aboitiz in the 14th minute of the match. Caton Colunga made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arnau Venegas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Navalito's zone, Yoel Nueva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Ignacio Bozo came out of the goal and Yoel Nueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Vinegra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bento Vinegra in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Ignacio Bozo saved Navalito from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Vinegra in the 34th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper José Ignacio Bozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Ignacio Bozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Vinegra in the 40th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Estefan Sarmiento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Ignacio Bozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yoel Nueva to make the kick off. In the 65th minute Américo Trincado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caton Colunga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tala Bosques del Jaure's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Navalito the free kick. Navalito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Bento Vinegra scored to the left of an out of position José Ignacio Bozo, making the score, 0-3.
